Jacob and Jordan run every job themselves, with the same crews they have trusted for nine years. Roofing and construction across Central Mississippi, and now DC Pools & Spas under the same roof.
How we started
Before Dickerson Contracting existed, Jacob ran the steep-slope roofing division for a large commercial contractor. Jordan left the equine industry, where he had worked as a farrier and trainer, to build under him. A couple of years on those roofs settled it: Jacob had the construction knowledge to handle any project. They left, got their residential GC license and proper insurance, and started DC.
They also decided what DC would not be. They had watched companies chase size, stacking up salesmen and rented crews, and watched quality get inconsistent as they grew. DC grows at its own pace instead, so every homeowner gets the same crew, the same standard, and the same experience the last review described.
Today we are licensed through the Mississippi State Board of Contractors, insured, BBB accredited, 5 star rated on Google, installing residential, commercial, metal and flat systems across Central Mississippi. See roofing for the full service list.

Jacob is Brandon born and raised, and he came up through the trade as a building superintendent. A large commercial contractor brought him in to head up their steep-slope roofing division, and that is where he and Jordan met. He lives in Brandon with his wife and their three daughters.

Jordan came to roofing the long way around. He made his living in the equine industry first, shoeing and training horses, then went to work under Jacob on that steep-slope division. A couple of years in, he was convinced Jacob could handle any project that came through the door, so they left, got their residential GC license, and started Dickerson Contracting. He lives in Ridgeland, and homeowners still ask for him by name.

DC Pools & Spas installs genuine Latham fiberglass pools start to finish, from the first shovel of clay to startup, with financing through Lyon Financial.
We also build outdoor kitchens and living areas, whether or not a pool is going in.
